Out of all the games in the Master Chief Collection, which one is your favorite? I personally really like Reach despite growing up playing CE and 2, and I would like to know how many people are in similar or different boats!
100% reach, my first ever game was CE but my teen years were spent playing reach custom games. Though playing MCC for me doesn't come anywhere close to the good ole days. I still think the story is solid, where as the chief story is amazing you have to play through 3 games, where as i think reach is a brilliant open-shut story for one game.
3 will always be my favourite. It was the first I played and while I adore every game in MCC, excluding 4, I still feel 3 is the best. CE and Reach are close behind for me though.
Halo 2 for Campaign, Halo 3 for MP, ODST for vibes.
Favourite weapons are the Carbine (H2/H3/ODST) and the Light Rifle (H4)
For me, Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST are my favorite games in the series, especially Halo 3 ODST.
Halo 3: ODST will always be my #1, but I've had a LOT of fun playing halo 2 lately
I didn’t get into halo until right about when Halo 5 released, so I started playing these games without any nostalgia, bias, or knowledge of the 343 drama lol. I originally leaned more towards the newer games, but I’ve learned to love them all and Reach is 100% my favorite and Halo 2 closely follows 🙂 amazing games
My first exposure to Halo was playing CE and 2 at a friend's house as a kid waaaaay back in the day. It's extremely difficult to say that any 1 title is my favorite, since each title has its strengths and weaknesses. I think Halo Reach will win as my overall favorite though, particularly because the campaign is so much fun to run through. Being able to make Noble Six your own is a HUGE plus. Halo 4 is easily my favorite story. In terms of gameplay, it doesn't hit the same highs as Reach. I think Reach's variety in campaign mission locales help elevate its gameplay which in turn makes for an overall better campaign to actually play through. In terms of the actual story being told, Chief and Cortana's struggles in Halo 4 was masterfully crafted and the Didact made for an excellent, if not slightly underused, villain. Halo 2 definitely wins for favorite cutscenes. Honestly, Halo 2 Anniversary's Gravemind cutscene might be the greatest cutscene in all of gaming.
Reach has always been my favourite but Halo 2 multiplayer just hits different
