Halo Spotlight Weekly Roundup: Featured Artist – PessimismJester

Hello everyone. Welcome to Halo United. The place that unites all the Halo Community goodness in one place. The end of the week has come, but it’s not all sad news. We’ve got a brand new Halo Spotlight Weekly Roundup for you all to enjoy.

In this piece, we’ll be featuring artwork by PessimismJester, who creates artwork using ink and coloured pencils. The pieces are all super unique and awesome. Some are a little gruesome even, so if you haven’t seen a brute beheaded before, you’re in for a shock.

PessimismJester was kind enough to send some of their favourite pieces over, so we really hope you enjoy the range of ideas and techniques shown in the below artwork. They didn’t have titles, so the titles given are ones created by The Writing Spartan.

Covenant March

Elite Couple

Caught In The Snow

Beheaded Victory

Fuel Rod Elite

Silent Shadow

A huge thank you to PessimismJester for sending across those pieces. If you’d like to see more from PessimismJester, you can check out their Twitter account.

Now it’s time to move onto the pieces that went up over on Halo Spotlight. We’ll give a sneak peak at the past week of features that have gone live over on Halo Spotlight.

Halo Spotlight Weekly Roundup

Halo Spotlight has taken a little break from Q&As this past week, and has gone back to the much loved fanart features.

Fanart Feature: Tubbies of Plum

“My favorite UNSC leader in Halo Wars 2. I just love his unique Hydra and backpack, such a fun leader. He is based on the concept art and not the in-game model. This is a slightly revamped version compared to the one on my socials.”

“One of three hero units for Omega Team, August-099! She is based on the final concept art. Such a fun character to draw. She has been slightly revamped from the version on my socials.”

As always, the above is just a taster of the full Fanart Feature. If you’d like to see more art similar to those above, you can find the piece over on Halo Spotlight.

Fanart Feature: Ultra

“My Halo Reach spartan, known as spartan Anthony 926, or A-926. Created with SFM, I was trying to get comfortable with different poses with models.”

“Anthony 0926 on night shift at an unknown UNSC outpost. Created with SFM, I was working on lighting. I still have ways to go, but this piece I’m proud of in terms of lighting.”

Much like the other Fanart Feature, the above is just a small amount from the full piece. You can view the full piece over on Halo Spotlight here.

Halo Spotlight Presents

Halo Spotlight Presents has of course had some additions too. There have been a couple of brand new pieces added to multiple Halo Spotlight Presents Pages.
